Anita S. Brown
As Accounting Supervisor, Anita is the face of the Tax Department at VPI. She works closely with Bill King, the CFO, to implement tax minimization strategies and create opportunities for clients to reduce their income tax burden. She is also a Certified QuickBooks Advisor and Trainer, and is extremely proficient in helping our clients update and integrate the latest QuickBooks system into their small businesses.

A native of Savannah, Tennessee, Anita resides on Tellico Lake in Maryville and is active in the Blount County community. She is most passionate about being a mom to 4 year old Benji. She is continues to support many professional and civic organizations, including:

Experience and Education
Anita is a 1998 graduate of Tennessee Technological University, earning a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in accounting and business administration. She continues her education annually through ongoing continuing professional education programs offered by various professional groups. Anita’s diversified background is within a variety of industries and she has significant experience in small business consulting and accounting for local and state taxes. Anita is a Certified QuickBooks Advisor and Trainer. Her previous experience includes practicing with the local office of a regional certified public accounting firm, as well as serving as a controller in the textile industry. Anita is also our lead QuickBooks Advisor, and is extremely proficient in helping our clients update and integrate the latest QuickBooks system into their small businesses.
