Bill King
Bill is VPI’s Primary Advisor Re: Tax Minimization Strategies as well as Certified Public Accountant and Chief Financial Officer. In addition to the preparation of corporate, partnership and individual income tax returns, he emphasizes a proactive approach to tax planning designed to minimize income tax burden. Regarded as an accomplished speaker on business and income tax matters, Bill constantly stays ahead of the strategy curve on both fronts. He is a tireless advocate for his clients and is available to them beyond the normal work hours. You will find his advice to be cutting edge, prompt and shrewd.

Fun Fact
Bill lives in Knoxville, Tennessee – with part-time residence in Gainesville, Florida. His oldest son, Ryan, is a graduate of the University of Florida and currently attends law school. His youngest son, Kyle, is a senior at Webb School of Knoxville and is active in baseball and basketball. His wife, Meg, is a homemaker, managing the couple’s many small businesses, two children, and four dogs. He is a passionate sports fan – of all collegiate sports and of pro baseball, but his favorite event is watching his son play baseball. Bill was President of the National Association of Healthcare Consultants from 1998-1999 as well as a board member for the Foundation for Education In Healthcare Consulting.
Experience and Education
After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1981, Bill became a Certified Public Accountant and gained unprecedented experience working for private accounting firms and medical groups. In 1996, Bill became a partner for Doctors Management, LLC where he continues to play an active role in the company’s success. Bill has also been a Certified Financial Planner for over 20 years.
