Custom WordPress-Based Designs
This is the sweet spot. Most of our clients need THIS solution. WordPress sites are easy to update, whether we do the content changes or the client does. We often do text updates for clients for free. However, many prefer to do it themselves because it is as easy as making a change to a Word document. Also, WordPress is fully transportable and you can move your site whenever you choose. Additionally, and very importantly, WordPress is so commonly used that programmers are constantly developing amazing plug-ins that if coded by hand would be intensively time consuming and expensive. This format is simply the most efficient way to stage your site to be found by Google and other search engines, all without having to spend a fortune. WordPress sites show perfectly on iPhones and other iDevices, and we even can show you how to update your site via your phone. While the sky is the limit on what can be done via WordPress, most of ours fall in the $5,000-$10,000 budget range, with an average right there in middle. Flash and WordPress CMS Hybrid Designs
Some highly dynamic companies need to be able to manage their content themselves on the fly, however, they still want the modern look & feel that Flash can offer. Through a hybrid use of Flash, which allows limitless movement and customization, and WordPress, which may be the best Content Management System available, we can cater the site design to your needs. Since iPhones and other iDevices can’t currently read Flash, we can integrate a code that the site will detect when being tapped by non-Flash-compatible devices. The site will then revert to a version that either removes the Flash altogether, or runs the animation via HTML5, which iDevices CAN read. However, since the development of HTML5 has yet to be perfected, we go this extra mile in order for regular computers to be able to see the animation in its fullest glory – Flash.
Depending on the size and complexity of your needs, these sites can range from $5,000-$15,000, but with the average falling around $7,000. Squarespace is an amazing tool for today’s small businesses and start-ups. The ease of content management is second to none, and it is extremely Search Engine friendly. Additionally, we provide an App for iPhones, iPads & Droids that allow you to literally manage the content of your site from anywhere with a cellular connection… even by uploading new pictures taken from your phone. It’s ridiculously easy. When we show the admin controls to clients, especially those who have a hard time even turning on their computer or updating their Facebook page, they’re always shocked. “I can update my own website! Woo hoo!” During the design, we can integrate an interactive map into your Squarespace site that will allow the visitor to input their address and get spot-on directions to your front door. We also can secure your domain name via our online hosting server and point it perfectly to your new Squarespace site. The negative is that these sites are not portable. What this means to you is that you will have to pay the hosting we provide through our partnership with Squarespace. If it isn’t paid, the site is lost and would have to be redesigned to revive it. For this reason, we bill hosting for these sites annually.
