Nicole Thurman
Nicole is part of VPI’s Marketing division. She is an adventure seeking traveler who has learned the art of identifying what businesses need and how to help them achieve it through various sales and marketing strategies. Nicole has gained her experience in a variety of markets and cultures across the United States including Western North Carolina, the Hawaiian Islands, her home town on the Gulfcoast and now the greater Knoxville area.
Fun Fact
Nicole is a lover of Creation and thoroughly enjoys high energy sports such as surfing, mountain biking, kayaking, skydiving, running, and hiking. She also centers her free time around playing guitar and/or piano, preferably with a glass of red wine in hand. Her most recent accomplishments include co-founding a non-profit organization designed to help girls find freedom and restoration from the domestic sex trade based out of Honolulu, Hi.
Experience and Education
Nicole received her B.S. in Business Administration from Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, North Carolina where she focused on Marketing and Psychology. Throughout college and post graduation, Nicole has gained experience with a variety of local, national and international companies providing them with fresh advertising strategies, redeveloping and managing sales teams, all the while expanding her professional network. Her experience prior to working for VPI Business Advisors includes working as the Senior Sales Manager for Sideline Snapshots, Inc., an independently owned sports photography company, Advertising Executive for Sage EcoEnterprises and Sales Representative for Tropic Fish Hawaii, a seafood distributor.
