Fun Fact
Susan is originally a native of Clarksville, TN. After living in Knoxville for over thirty years, she now calls East Tennessee home. She has a son, Stuart, who is a graduate of Farragut High School and Cumberland University and now lives and works in Dallas, TX. She also has a daughter, Katie, who lives in Los Angeles with her family and is in pursuit of a nursing degree while her husband follows his dream of being an actor/comedian. Susan is an avid UT Volunteer fan and loves to travel and spend time at the lake. Susan is the Past Secretary and Treasurer for Fountain City Business & Professional Association. She also held the position of Tournament Director of the ETTAC Mack French Memorial Golf Tournament for 6 yrs.
Experience and Education
Susan has over 25 years of experience in the accounting world. Prior to being the Senior Accountant for VPI, she played a vital role in the accounting departments for companies including East Tennessee Technology Access Center, Phoenix Conversions, and Metal Solutions, LLC. Susan attended both the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN and Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN where she studied Accounting and Business Administration. Susan is also a Notary Public at Large for the state of Tennessee.
